I totally agree with you. Often we run around trying to reproduce other people's story when we don't even understand the making of the story. I agree that beside listening to the story of someone we wish to be like, we need to analyse the story and if possible ask questions from the person to clarify areas we don't quite comprehend. Assuming we understand the full details of another person's story and going ahead to build our own success with it is just a great gamble.
